4C-seq analysıs
4C-Seq utilizes circularized chromosome conformation capture (4C) technique in coupled with high-throughput sequencing to identify genomic regions that interact and/or come into contact with genomic sites/loci of interest (viewpoint).
Case Study
Can we detect the region(s) that interact with the promoter region of our gene of interest and identify regulatory elements such as enhancers within them? By performing 4C-Seq, we can visualize the interacting regions of a specific genomic site/loci of interest (Figure 1). Further analysis can then reveal if these interacting sites account for regulatory regions and could then identify interactions such as promoter-enhancer. This could give insight on the distal regulatory mechanisms of genes under varying conditions such as in disease.

  • Data integration includes intergration of existing pre-processed data for up to two applications between RNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq, or ATAC-Seq.
